Oh Life! A True Paradox

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

A truth that we all must shoulder.

For every one finds you unappealing.

There are another ones that may find quite appealing.


Life can be a paradox, it's true.

Full of twists and turns, blacks and blues.

The things that make some people frown.

Are the same things that others crown.


So don't be discouraged by those who judge you.

For their opinions may simply be a grudge.

Embrace the quirks, flaws and uniqueness that make your being.

For they are the things that make you unique.


Your worth is not determined by your looks, but by the kindness in your heart.


Don't worry if someone finds you unfit.

For fit is in the mind of the beholder.

And in an blind mind, they can't see

the beauty in the world. 


And remember to hold your head up without fear.

For beauty is not just skin deep.

It's the soul within that we should bright, the matter doesn’t matter and one day the matter will disappear and only the brightness of your soul will stay.
