This Too Shall Pass

Perhaps you cannot fathom
The profound impact you had on me
It was as if a divine messenger
Had descended upon me

The ardor I felt for you
Was instantaneous, all-consuming
A simple yet profound gesture
That stirred my heart, so overwhelming

The emotion I experienced in that moment
Was the catalyst used by the divine
To propel me forward and comprehend after all I went through 
I still held worth, that I was still mine

You conveyed without uttering a word
That my mind was in disarray
And that I needed to find equilibrium
To reach another level, my mind had to evolve 

It was truly overwhelming to contemplate
How minuscule I was in comparison to your grandeur
It was difficult to grasp the purpose of it all
But through you God showed me my way

You touched my very soul
And transformed my essence into completeness
Now I feel whole and throughput you, 
God showed me “This too shall pass” .
