Intentions

The morals, where principles reside,
Lies a truth often hidden, where values coincide.
For it's not the outcome, nor the fruits we reap,
But the principles we hold, even if our actions did not showed.

So here's the thing, a notion to embrace,
When assessing worth, let's not judge by the first impression.
It's the maxim, the driving force, that we must explore,
To understand the essence, the heart at the core.

A noble deed, with intentions pure and bright,
May falter in its path, veering from what's right.
While a seemingly selfish act, with motives unclear,
May hold a hidden virtue, a purpose sincere.

For intentions, my friend, are the seeds we sow,
Guiding our actions, wherever they may go.
A kind gesture, born from compassion's embrace,
Can bring solace and love, to a troubled space.

Yet intentions can deceive, like a whisper in the wind,
Masking selfish desires, where darkness lies within.
A deceitful act, with a hidden agenda in its wake,
Can shatter trust and hearts, leaving only ache.

So let us not be swayed by the outcome's allure,
But delve into the depths, where intentions endure.
For it's the principles we hold, the values we uphold,
That shape our character, as our stories unfold.

In this intricate dance, where morals intertwine,
Let us seek the truth, in every action's design.
For it's not about the outcome, but the principles we find,
That determine the worth, of the actions we bind.

Look beyond the surface, delve into the heart.
For in the morals, where principles reside,
It's the driving force within, that we must confide.
