The Naive Chase of Love

In the world where innocence exists,  a heart can be naive, yet wise. It doesn’t see deceit, but seeks the truth, in old age or in youth. It views the world through the immaculate eyes of purity. This doesn’t mean to be foolish, but risk believing, fearlessly, in the goodness people carry within, in the light when the day turns dark. Each person has, in their essence, a purity. They have disappointments that have hardened them deeply, doubts that creep on for years, a void that cannot be explained, of frustrations that cannot be healed. However, in the shadow of the conflicts, through the echoes of an empty life, a desire persists, wrapped in the morning dew by admiration for others and eternal love. Naivety is not the disguise of foolishness. It is seeing the world with the heart’s eyes, knowing that every face hides a secret desire, of a heart where love has always resided. It is the love that we all seek and desire. In its light, we all wish to shine. Though we stumble on life’s disillusionments, we try, under one sky, to feel important, for it is love that makes life truly worthwhile.
